INGREDIENTS (for 1 cup)
- Almonds - 10 pcs. or almond butter - 1 tbsp
- Dates - 2 - 5 pcs. (depending on the size of the dates)
- Ground cinnamon - ⅛ tsp
- Ground nutmeg (or cardamom) - ⅛ tsp
- Ground cloves - 1 pinch
- Water - 1 glass
PREPARATION1. Soak the almonds in water overnight, the next morning peel the outer shell. This is necessary not only to give a pleasant texture to the drink, but also to reduce phytic acid in nuts, which reduces the absorption of micronutrients (iron, zinc, calcium).
2. Dates can also be pre-soaked if they are very dry.
3. Remove pits from the dates.
4. Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth
